The Liaison Librarian is an embedded librarian and works with the academic department/faculty to improve communication as well as to improve resources and the use of library services.
Liaison librarians act as intermediary officers between the library and faculty and vice versa to provide teaching, learning and research support. Liaison librarians also act as subject librarians to provide research support, collection development, reference and consultation as well as tutoring/teaching sessions to the faculty.
