Production of triploidy in red tilapia [Oreochromis mossambicus (Peters, 1852) X Oreochromis niloticus (Linnaeus, 1758)]
The study focusing to optimize the best treatment protocol for triploidy induction in red tilapia using cold-and heat-shocks.Demostrated that the best timing to prevent the release of second polar body was at 4 minutes after fertilization of the egof red tilapia.
